Jaime “Jimmy” Figueroa grew up in the Tri-City area and has lived in District 3 for over 30 years, which he will represent on City Council.
With over 10 years of nonprofit and public sector experience, Jimmy is a proven community leader in Oceanside with a long history of fighting for the needs of our residents, neighborhoods and countless families in Oceanside and throughout North County San Diego.

Putting people and neighborhoods first
We uplift our Oceanside community by creating and enhancing spaces and supporting programs for youth, families, and seniors. By working together, we strengthen and empower our neighborhoods.
Addressing homelessness in district 3
A statewide initiative is helping to fund a local effort to clear encampments surrounding the Buena Vista Creek alongside Route 78 between Oceanside (College Blvd/Lake Blvd) and Carlsbad (Haymar Dr.) and transition people experiencing homelessness into housing.
Addressing infrastructure issues impacting District 3
The City of Vista recently submitted a grant request to fund the Emerald Drive Complete Streets Project. This proposed project will enhance safety and improve connectivity for active transportation users through infrastructure and traffic calming measures.

I have earned the trust of our community by valuing the concerns and perspectives of our diverse residents and empowering our neighborhoods.
